WASHINGTON, D.C. (Sept. 21, 2019) - The FIU volleyball team capped play in our nation's capital on Saturday, as the Panthers fell in a tough match to host Georgetown.
With the loss, the Panthers' record drops to 7-4 overall as their seven-match winning streak comes to halt. Georgetown improves its record to 8-4 with the win.
For the second day in a row, Sydney Henderson led the way for the Panthers with nine kills, while Abbie Hughes nabbed 23 assists.
The Panthers walk away from the weekend with a 2-1 mark after victories over Binghamton and Morgan State.
