MIAMI (March 24, 2019) – The FIU baseball team fell in Sunday's matinee matchup with WKU 15-1 in seven innings.
The Panthers' record goes to 11-12 (2-4 C-USA), while WKU improves to 11-11 (5-1 C-USA) in 2019.
WKU's Reece Calvert pitched a complete game for the win. Christian Santana was given the loss after surrendering eight runs in four innings of work.
Lorenzo Hampton, Jr. pushed his team-leading hit total to 28 with a 2-for-2 effort on Sunday. The pair of Juan Teixeira and Derek Cartaya each had a base knock.
