MIAMI (May 5, 2019) - Despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead to open the game, the FIU baseball team fell to UAB in Sunday's rubber match as the Blazers took an 11-4 decision from the Panthers in Miami.
With the loss, FIU falls to 20-27 on the year and 9-15 in Conference USA play. UAB improves to 22-26 overall and 8-16 in league action.
Franco Aleman was handed the loss after surrendering four runs in five innings of work. Tanner Graham earned the win on the mound for UAB after seven innings of work.
