MIAMI (Sept. 1, 2016) – The FIU men's and women's cross country teams will kick off the 2016 season at the Florida Atlantic Invitational on Friday, Sept. 2. The meet will take place at South Count Regional Park in Boca Raton.
FIU along with host institution FAU will be one of five men's teams, and seven women's teams competing in the 5K on Friday evening. The women will race first, at 6 p.m., with the men scheduled to go off at 6:30 on the park's course, located at 11200 Park Access Road in Boca Raton.
