BIRMINGHAM, Ala (February 19, 2023) - The FIU track and field program concluded its run at the Conference USA Indoor Championships, earning a fifth place finish in Birmingham with 67.5 points.
Freshman Celia Rifaterra highlighted the afternoon for FIU, earning a bronze in the high hump with a mark of 1.77m - FIU's first medalist in the event since Clarissa Cutliff in 2019. Arielle Ho also picked up points for the Panthers in the event, finishing in fifth.
In the pentathlon, Fabiola Declet and Maika Cuenca earned seven points with a fifth and sixth place finish, respectively.
