ATLANTA (April 17, 2019) – FIU beach volleyball standouts Dorina Klinger (Feldkirchen, Austria), Lina Bernier (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Margherita Bianchin (Venice, Italy) have been named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) All-Academic Team, the league announced on Wednesday. FIU is the only CCSA school to have three student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team.
Klinger, a senior, boasts a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) in marketing. She has logged a 14-10 overall dual record, including an impressive 7-3 mark on court two, with nine of the 10 matches at the number two position being played with her sister Ronja.
