MIAMI (April 22, 2019) – The FIU beach volleyball tandem of Lina Bernier and Erika Zembyla were named to the 2019 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) All-Tournament Team following the Panthers' semifinal appearance, April 19-21, in Emerson, Georgia.
Bernier and Zembyla posted a perfect 4-0 record during the three-day event on court four, while winning all four matches, in straight sets, against UAB (21-8, 21-13), No. 19 Florida Atlantic (21-10, 21-11), No. 13 South Carolina (21-7, 21-13) and No. 4 LSU (21-18, 23-21).
On the year, the duo is 16-4 overall, while going 13-3 on court four, 2-0 on court five and 1-1 on court three.
