ATLANTA (April 18, 2019) – The FIU beach volleyball tandem of Federica Frasca (Roma, Italy) and Margherita Bianchin (Venice, Italy) have been named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) All-Conference Team, the league announced on Thursday. In addition, Ronja Klinger (Frauental, Austria) was named to the CCSA All-Freshman Team.
Frasca and Bianchin have been one of the most dominating tandems in collegiate beach volleyball. The Italian duo is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation at the one position, with the duo owning a stellar 19-5 overall dual record with all but three of their matches coming on court one.
