It was a historic night in Little Havana on Saturday as FIU downgraded the Miami Hurricanes, 30-24, at Marlins Park to become bowl-eligible for a record third-straight year. Jose Borregales was named Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week after going a perfect three-of-three on field goals that included a school-tying 53 yarder in the third quarter. James Morgan tossed two touchdowns and Anthony Jones added the game-sealing touchdown with a 37-yard scamper in the final frame.
