MIAMI (April 8, 2019) – With only a handful of weeks left to go in the athletic calendar year, FIU had four programs in competition this past week. The beach volleyball and softball squads highlighted the week as the two programs earned a combined three wins over rival Florida Atlantic.

Baseball
The FIU baseball team got back in the winning column this past week, after taking its series over Rice on the road. After dropping a heartbreaking walk-off loss on Wednesday to non-conference opponent Houston, the Panthers took two-out-of-three on the weekend from C-USA foe Rice.
