MIAMI (Jan. 22, 2019) - FIU took time to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday.
Student-athletes from around the FIU athletic department took part in a parade on Monday morning honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with over 60 Panthers attending. Panther student athletes joined FIU multicultural affairs in representing the university at the event.
This year's MLK Day parade, held near Liberty City, was the 42nd annual.
