MIAMI (May 27, 2020) - FIU has entered into an agreement with the University of Connecticut to play two games on the gridiron, scheduling a home-and-home series for the 2022 and 2023 football seasons.
The Panthers and Huskies will face off at Riccardo Silva Stadium on Oct. 8, 2022, before closing out the series in East Hartford, Connecticut on Oct. 14, 2023.
FIU and UConn have never faced off on the gridiron.
To accommodate the FIU-UConn series, the Panthers have moved their home game with Liberty to Nov.
