FIU Alumnus Ronald Forbes to Compete in Third-Straight Olympics

MIAMI (July 15, 2016) – FIU alumnus Ronald Forbes will be making his third-straight Olympic Games representing the Cayman Islands in the 110-meter hurdles in Rio de Janeiro, next month.

A two-time All-American at FIU in 2008, Forbes set the national record in the 110-meter hurdles at the NTC Star Sprint Series in Clermont, Florida, back on April 30. The George Town, Cayman Islands, product recorded a PR of 13.36 to earn a spot in Rio.

Having competed in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, Forbes was his country's flag bearer at the games in Beijing (2008).
