MIAMI (Dec. 11, 2020) – FIU and UConn have agreed to a pair of future football games in 2025 and 2027, as announced by the two athletic departments on Friday.
The newly added games are set for Oct. 4, 2025, at UConn and Oct. 2, 2027, at FIU.
The Panthers will now face the Huskies four times in the coming years, with games set for 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2027. FIU hosts UConn in 2022 and 2027, while traveling to Hartford, Connecticut in 2023 and 2025.
The 2022 meeting between the Panthers and Huskies will be the first in the series for the two football programs.
