MIAMI (Dec. 16, 2020) – The FIU women's basketball team topped Flagler College 97-64 on Wednesday night, behind 20 points and double-double, as the Panthers earned their third-straight win.
With the win, FIU improves to 3-1 and 2-0 at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on the young season. Additionally, the 3-1 mark is the program's best four-game start since the 2006-07 season.
With FIU's 96-point game on Monday and Wednesday's 97 points, the Panthers have now scored 90-plus in back-to-back games for the first time since the 1997-98 season.
Joining Danielsson in double figures, Thomas pulled down 11 rebounds while scoring 19 and added 10 more points of her own.
