ORLANDO (October 12, 2021) - The FIU cross country team competed at the UCF Invite in Orlando on Friday evening, with a number of impressive performances as the Panthers near the conclusion of the regular season.
On the men's side, Eliseo Torres and Chris Ivonnet finished in the top-10 for FIU, guiding the Panthers to a third place finish. Torres ran the 6K in 19:23 for an eighth place finish, while Ivonnet was right behind in 19:29 for 10th. Alejandro Garcia, Roger Reyes, and Jonathan Pineda rounded out the top five for FIU, who placed all their scoring athletes in the top twenty.
