MIAMI (Feb. 23, 2022) – Baseball opened a four-game series against Missouri on Thursday night beating the Tigers, 4-3.
The FIU pitching staff was stellar against Missouri, striking out 11 batters and walking only one. Starter Ryan Cabarcas had another solid outing, striking out four and allowing only one run. Reliever CJ McKennitt earned the win after pitching two scoreless innings and collecting four strikeouts of his own.
Junior Ryne Guida's hot started continued as he went 2-4 with a RBI and earned a walk against the Tigers.
