MIAMI – The FIU baseball program dropped a 3-0 decision to Liberty in its final home game of the season on Sunday afternoon at FIU Baseball Stadium.
Prior to first pitch, FIU recognized 12 seniors for their contributions to the program: Jaydon Bishop, Hector Candelas, Javier Crespo, Austin Dearing, David Eckaus, Kishon Frett, Bryce Greene, Owen Puk, Nelson Rivera Flores, Logan Runde, Shane Tucker, and Brylan West.
In a tightly contested matchup, the game remained scoreless until the eighth inning when Liberty broke through with the eventual game-winning run.
