As the FIU Panthers begin conference play, revenge is a big factor. And this is why

Moments after running back Anthony Jones gave FIU a 7-0 lead over Indiana in last week’s season opener, there was a swagger to the Panthers.

“Hey, that’s one!” Jones yelled at his teammates on the sidelines. “I’ve got two more in me.”

Jones wasn’t exactly right, but he did have a big game, rushing 15 times for 88 yards, a 5.9 average and two scores.

FIU lost to the Hoosiers 38-28 but likely earned some respect along the way.
