FIU and WKU have been playing each other since they were Sun Belt Conference rivals. The Panthers visit the Hilltoppers Saturday for the first time since 2011 when FIU had its program-record eight-win season and went to the St. Petersburg Bowl.
The Panthers (3-6) need to win their final three games if they want to go bowling again. The first of their final three games will be the toughest against one of the top teams in Conference USA.
