The talk is just about over as FIU and Temple are less than 48 hours from kickoff to the Gasparilla Bowl. The Panthers seek their second bowl win in three tries against their former defensive coordinator and current Temple coach Geoff Collins. FIU is also aiming for a program record ninth win on the season.
This is the first-ever meeting between FIU and Temple, who is from the American Athletic Conference. The Panthers went 1-1 against the AAC this season defeating Tulane and losing to Central Florida.
