FIU looks to extend its winning streak to four games on Saturday when Old Dominion comes to town. For the first time since the Charlotte game in late September FIU is not the underdog in a game.
Old Dominion, winners of 10 games including the Bahamas Bowl last season, is banged up and struggling. Despite their successful season so far the Panthers (6-2, 4-1 Conference USA) can't overlook the Monarchs (3-6, 1-4 C-USA). FIU has Florida Atlantic next week in a Don Shula Bowl with possible C-USA Championship game implications.
The Monarchs -- who snapped a six-game losing streak last week with a 6-0 win over Charlotte -- are really hurting offensively.
