Two weeks ago FIU had a tough time stopping the Charlotte 49ers running game. This Saturday when Tulane comes to town the Panthers will be charged with stopping a similar but much better running game that averages nearly 300 yards on the ground per contest.
The Green Wave and the Panthers meet for the first time on the gridiron Saturday night in what could be a very quickly played game considering all the running that Tulane does.
Tulane, coming off a 62-28 win over Tulsa, employs a triple-option offense with a variety of looks.
