NORFOLK, Virginia (January 29, 2018) -- A success in the pool and in the classroom, the three-time defending Conference USA Champion FIU Swimming and Diving squad was named a Division I Scholar Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America today.
The team turned in a collective 3.37 grade-point average (GPA) in the fall semester of 2017, a slight tick up from the 3.35 posted last spring. This is the tenth-consecutive semester in which FIU has been honored as a team, and the 14th time earning the recognition under Head Coach Randy Horner.
