The annual Florida-Florida State meeting used to be one of the best games in all of college football.
Consider: The teams met 13 times from 1990-2000 (they met twice in bowl games), and both were in the top 10 for each meeting. Heck, both were in the top five in six of those meetings.
But this ain’t the ’90s. For the first time since 1959, both are entering the showdown with losing records (each team is 4-6). And both could finish with losing records for the first time since 1963.
That means each has played a lot of bad football this season.
