Several instate prospects have been on the receiving end of good news lately from the Florida Gators coaching staff.
2023 offensive lineman Clay Wedin (6-6, 275, Tampa, FL. Carrollwood Day) picked up an offer from offensive line coach John Hevesy last week.
“Coach Hevesy offered,” Wedin said on the coach from Florida who offered him. “When I called him we really just talked about things away from football and then he told me that I was offered.”
Wedin has a hard time remembering just what all Hevesy told him last week as the offensive lineman was glad to hear the news from the Gators.
