UF receiver arrested for failing to appear in court

Florida wide receiver Alvin Bailey is currently in Hillsborough County Jail on $5,000 bond for failing to appear in court on a second-degree misdemeanor traffic citation.

Bailey, 20, was arrested Saturday and booked at 5:07 p.m., according to Hillsborough County Jail records.

He had been cited May 12 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, his second offense, and a warrant was issued for his arrest June 9 when he missed his scheduled arraignment, according to Hillsborough County court records.

Bailey is entering his redshirt sophomore season at UF and did not record any statistics in six games last year.
