UF QB Kyle Trask on point for Gators even during an off day

The Gators high-scoring offense looked ordinary early on while Trask missed some throws and receivers drop some passes. When the dust settled, he’d failed to throw at least four touchdown passes for the first time this season for the Gators (6-1).

Dan Mullen offered no condolences for the end of Trask’s impressive streak. Florida’s coach unapologetically swapped out Trask during a fourth-quarter series for backup Emory Jones, who promptly tossed a 30-yard score to Kemore Gamble.

Yet, Mullen knows an off day for Trask is still better than the best day for any Gators quarterback since Tim Tebow.
