To a man on Thursday, UF quarterbacks Feleipe Franks, Kyle Trask and Emory Jones each said he feels more comfortable in Year 2 of Dan Mullen’s offense.
“Now is totally different than last spring,” Franks said.
A year ago, Franks was the face of a 4-7 season, during which he lost his confidence, his coaches and the support of fans.
Now the incumbent QB of a 10-3 ascending team, Franks appears to be the clear front-runner to start his third season opener for the Gators, a feat last achieved a decade ago by Tim Tebow.
