In the two-year Mike White era at Florida, the formula for success has centered around defense fueling offense.
That was the case again in UF’s 70-63 win Tuesday night over Ole Miss at Exactech Arena. The Gators finished the game with 11 steals and scored 18 points off 21 Ole Miss turnovers.
Florida improved to 14-2 under White when it forced 16 turnovers or more.
“We got our hands on a lot of basketballs,” White said. “I thought we had a bunch of tips from Justin Leon and Canyon Barry and Devin Robinson.
