Wide receiver was a priority position on the recruiting trail for Florida this cycle, and the Gators nabbed maybe their highest priority at the position when four-star prospect Tyrie Cleveland signed Wednesday.
Cleveland starred at Houston Westfield and had been committed to the hometown Cougars, who are coming off a 13-1 season. Cleveland, who grew up a Gators fans, also considered Arkansas and TCU in the process. He made his official visit to UF this past weekend.
Cleveland (6 feet 2, 189 pounds) is considered one of the top three receivers nationally and a top-35 player overall.
