GAINESVILLE - Florida will open spring practice tomorrow without Treon Harris and receiver Antonio Callaway, who have not been with the team since January, Gators coach Jim McElwain announced Tuesday.
McElwain did not give specifics and declined to say whether they were suspended.
Harris battled for UF's starting quarterback job last year as a sophomore and inherited it full time after Will Grier was suspended for failing an NCAA drug test. He completed 119 of his 235 passes for 1,676 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions. The Miami native, also started six games as a freshman, going 4-2.
