Top APR scores for UF basketball, softball, women's tennis

Three University of Florida programs have been publicly recognized by the NCAA for outstanding academic performance.

The men’s basketball, women’s tennis and softball teams were recognized for achieving Academic Progress Rate scores in the top 10 percent nationally within their sport. All three teams had perfect scores of 1,000.

It is the fourth year in a row that the softball team has been recognized by the NCAA and the second consecutive for the men’s basketball team.

APR scores for all Division I sports will be released next week by the NCAA.

UF had three of the 1,124 teams nationally that have been publicly recognized for academic excellence by the NCAA, the highest total in the decade since the NCAA began the Public Recognition Awards program.
