Florida junior pitcher Tommy Mace was named to the SEC Baseball Community Service Team.
Mace volunteered in a second-grade classroom at Littlewood Elementary School for more than 20 hours throughout the 2019-2020 season. While volunteering at the school Mace assisted students with homework and other classroom activities.
Mace also volunteered his time at the Climb for Cancer Brandon Ling Memorial Sports Camps, Florida’s annual sports camps for kids battling cancer. Mace assisted with the camp by helping set up and adjusting and modifying games and activities to ensure the safe participation of all campers.
On the field Mace was the Gators’ Friday night ace.
