After winning the 2025 National Championship, the University of Florida men's basketball program is looking to go back-to-back in 2026. The Gators are no strangers to winning consecutive titles, having done so in 2006 and 2007 under Billy Donovan.
Interestingly, current head coach Todd Golden sees some similarities between the teams.
In an interview with CBS College Basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Golden likened rising junior Thomas Haugh, who's set to play the small forward position in 2025, to Corey Brewer -- a key member of the '06 and '07 squads.
"(W)e're gonna move Tommy down to the three and kind of use his athleticism, his length, his physicality, and he's just been shooting the ball so well that it gives us that Corey Brewer-esque type wing.
