The Florida Gators weren't just on a search for a new head coach over the past couple weeks, but Scott Stricklin announced on Monday that they have also hired a new general manager to join the regime tasked with getting Florida back to their championship-caliber ways.
The University of Florida hired more than a football coach on Sunday. Along with bringing in Jon Sumrall to coach the Gators, they have hired the former general manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dave Caldwell, to assume the role with the Gators.
