The Florida Gators stole a commit away from the Miami Hurricanes on Tuesday when 2017 offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort (6-6, 323, Miami, FL Norland) flipped to the Gators.
“The reason isbecause when I went up there for camp and to visit, the environment was great,” Telfort said of why he flipped to Florida. “My relationship with Coach Randy Shannon is great and plus my teammate Vosean Joseph is already committed to them.”
Shannon is a native of Miami and has been through a lot of the day-to-day struggles that a lot of young men go through down there in South Florida, and that’s something Telfort took notice of.
