The Florida Gators picked up their 23rd commitment on Saturday during the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Defensive back Chris Steele (6-1, 187, Bellflower, CA. St. John Bosco) committed to Florida on Saturday over offers from USC, Oregon and Oklahoma among many others.
“My heart is at the real DBU, I’m a Florida Gator,” Steele said.
Steele who has been recruited by the Gators coaching staff since they were at other schools had a good relationship with the staff.
“Yeah. So, Coach [Ron] English and I have a good relationship,” he said on his relationship with Florida.
