The Florida Gators picked up their second commitment of the Class of 2022 on Wednesday from an in-state prospect.
Athlete Sam McCall (6-2, 180, Lakeland, FL. Lake Gibson) committed to Florida over Alabama and Florida State on Wednesday on his birthday.
“At this time, I will be committing to the University of Florida,” McCall said.
McCall says he talks to defensive back coach Torrian Gray a lot as the Gators want the athlete to play defense in college.
“He says that at 6-2, or 6-3 that I can play all over the field,” McCall said on where Gray wants him to play.
