The Florida Gators continued their momentum this spring on Tuesday when they picked up a big commitment in the Class of 2025.
2025 quarterback Austin Simmons (6-3, 180, Pahokee, FL. High) committed to the Florida Gators over Florida State and others.

Simmons who has visited Gainesville multiple times this spring first picked up an offer from the Gators in March after he met with Billy Napier.
“Coach Napier offered me,” he said on the coach who offered him during the visit. “We were having a conversation and he was asking me where I stand in my recruitment and what I can really do for their program and then he just said was offering me after we got done talking.
