Punter Jack Spicer will transfer from the Florida Gators to Miami, he announced Wednesday evening on Twitter.
"I am excited to announce that I am officially transferring to the University of Miami," Spicer wrote. "I would like to thank the amazing coaching staff and my teammates at the University of Florida for a great first year of my college career...I look forward to playing in the Green and Orange! Go Canes!"
Spicer, an Estero native, did not see any action last season. He is no longer listed on UF's roster.
Spicer initially planned to walk on at USF before switching to the Gators.
