Todd Golden’s Florida Gators landed their first commitment from the transfer portal just seven days after winning the 2025 National Championship. Princeton’s Xaivian Lee, a 6’4, 180-pound guard from Toronto, Canada, pledged to Florida on Monday afternoon via social media.
Lee took visits with St. John’s, Kansas, and Florida before ultimately deciding on the Gators for his senior season. Lee ranked as one of the top prospects in the portal and will have one year of eligibility remaining.
In 2024-25, Lee averaged 16.9 points per game while shooting 36.6% from three, a marked improvement after shooting 23.
