Oklahoma-Florida canceled due to COVID-19 concerns

Florida's season opener is once again in limbo after its road game against the Oklahoma Sooners — which was slated for Dec. 2 — was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns within the Oklahoma program.

Oklahoma and Florida have mutually agreed to cancel the men’s basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2. The start of the home-and-home series between the Sooners and Gators will be pushed back to next season.

The Sooners paused team activities on Nov. 25 due to at least one positive COVID-19 test and necessary contact tracing.
