Florida received their fifth commitment from the transfer portal this offseason when Michigan linebacker Deuce Spurlock pledged to the Gators on Sunday afternoon.
The Alabama native took to social media to announce his decision.
The Michigan linebacker entered the transfer portal on January 2nd following Michigan’s loss to TCU in the Fiesta Bowl. He immediately scheduled a visit with Florida on January 6th and committed just two days later.
Spurlock was a member of the 2022 recruiting class and attended Madsion Academy in Alabama. He was a two-way player in high school, playing receiver and linebacker.
