The Florida Gators hosted several prospects on campus this past Saturday for the Vanderbilt game and they also offered one of those prospects in attendance.
Offensive lineman Matthew McCoy (6-6, 285, St. Augustine, FL. Creekside) picked up an offer before the game on Saturday after he talked to the head coach himself.
“Coach [Dan] Mullen did,” McCoy said on the coach from Florida offered him. “He was talking about my athleticism and being able to bend and not being stiff. He was saying that he likes how long I am and that they love player development. They feel like I’m new to the position so they would love to develop me.
