Kyle Trask enters Florida QB competition following stand-out scrimmage

Ever since head coach Dan Mullen arrived at the University of Florida back in December, the biggest question hovering over Gator Nation was: who will start at quarterback this fall.

Most will tell you that redshirt-sophomore Feleipe Franks has the inside track to the starting job because of his experience from last season. Others will say the quarterback Mullen and staff sought out upon arriving in Gainesville, true-freshman Emory Jones, has every opportunity because of his status as an early-enrollee and his greater mobility than Franks.

Not many would have put forward a name outside of those two candidates, well, at least not until now.
