The Florida Gators coaching staff is having to expand their offensive line recruiting board after two of their top targets committed elsewhere recently.
One guy that the Gators continue to talk to is offensive lineman Caleb Johnson (6-7, 295, Ocala, FL. Trinity Catholic) who says he talks to several coaches at Florida.
“Most of the staff texts me off and on,” Johnson said of which coach from Florida is recruiting him. “I’ll talk to Coach [John] Hevesy on the phone every so often. Great folks.”
Offensive line coach John Hevesy has made sure to tell Johnson to continue to work and his recruitment will pay off due to that work.
