On Saturday, the Florida Gators handed out a few new offers including one to a prospect committed to another program in the class of 2020.
Maryland linebacker commit Ruben Hyppolite II (6-0, 225, Hollywood, FL. McArthur) picked up an offer after the Gators spoke with his high school coach.
“Coach Brian Johnson called my high school coach Junior Rosegreen,” Hyppolite said on which coach from Florida offered him. “He was saying that he wanted to offer me a scholarship.”
Quarterbacks coach and area recruiter Brian Johnson has explained to Hyppolite in the past just what Florida likes about his game.
