On Friday night, the Florida Gators picked up a big commitment from one of their most recent official visitors.
Defensive tackle Lamar Goods (6-4, 290, Oakdale, CT. St. Thomas More) committed to Florida over several other offers just a week after he was in Gainesville for his official visit.
“I knew all along that I want to commit there after I went there,” Goods said on why he committed to Florida. “Some things happened during the visit that showed me that I really wanted to go there but I had to wait a little bit. I don’t like to wait because I would rather get it over with and not have to deal with the other schools and everything.
