GN draft decisions: Florida RB Kelvin Taylor

The legacy of Fred Taylor has followed Kelvin Taylor everywhere, and that will hold true through at least the NFL draft.

Fred, who is Kelvin’s dad, was a first-round selection out of Florida in the 1998 draft. Like his dad, Kelvin grew up in Belle Glade, Fla., and went to UF. But Kelvin is seen as a third-day pick in the 2016 NFL draft.

Taylor (5 feet 10, 207 pounds) shared carries in his first two seasons, then was the unquestioned starter at tailback in 2015 and responded with a 1,035-yard, 13-TD season.
